Soudal High Yield Fire Rated Hand Held PU Foam is a one-component, fire-resistant expanding polyurethane foam filler designed for passive fire protection and general construction applications. Offering more than 25% greater linear yield than standard Soudafoam FR, it provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation while expanding approximately 35–40 times its initial volume.

The rapid-curing foam provides excellent primerless adhesion to most common construction materials and is ideal for filling large gaps, installing fire-retardant window and door frames and sealing expansion and connection joints.

APPLICATIONS

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Shake the aerosol can vigorously for at least 20 seconds before use. Fit the adapter onto the valve.

Moisten the surfaces with a water sprayer before application. For non-conventional substrates, a preliminary adhesion test is recommended.

Fill holes and cavities to approximately one-third full, allowing sufficient space for the foam to expand. Shake the can regularly during application. Release pressure from the applicator to stop the flow. When applying in layers, moisten each layer before applying the next.

Fresh, uncured foam can be removed using Soudal Gun & Foam Cleaner or acetone. Always test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area first, as some plastics, painted and lacquered surfaces may be sensitive.

Once cured, the foam can only be removed mechanically or using Soudal PU Remover.
