Soudal Fire Rated Expanding Foam Filler Hand-Held is a one-component, fire-resistant polyurethane expanding foam designed for filling, sealing and insulating gaps, joints and cavities where fire resistance is required.

The convenient hand-held application system makes the foam quick and easy to apply without the need for a separate PU foam gun. It provides an effective seal against fire, smoke and gas, while also offering excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

CHARACTERISTICS

• Fire resistant: Provides fire resistance of up to 240 minutes (4 hours), depending on the joint configuration and installation.
• Smoke and gas seal: Provides an efficient seal against smoke and gas.
• Excellent adhesion: Suitable for most common construction substrates. Not suitable for PE, PP or PTFE/Teflon.
• High thermal and acoustic insulation: Helps provide effective insulation against heat and sound.
• High bonding strength: Provides a strong and durable bond.
• Excellent stability: Does not shrink or undergo post-expansion after curing.
• Paintable: Can be painted once fully cured.
• Hand-held application: Ready to use without the need for a separate PU foam gun.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Ensure surfaces are clean, stable and free from dust, grease and loose material. Shake the canister thoroughly before use and attach the supplied hand-held applicator.

Apply the foam carefully, allowing sufficient room for expansion. Do not overfill cavities or joints. Allow the foam to cure fully before trimming away any excess.

The cured foam can be painted once fully cured.
